  Buy Wood

We sell and deliver both "green" wood and "seasoned" wood and we deliver 12 months a year! Green wood is cut right before delivery and seasoned wood we allow to dry for a year. There are pluses and minuses to both types, but if you don't know you will probably always want "seasoned" wood.

For those of you "new to the northwest" types, Green wood is wood that has been recently "cut". The few benefits of this wood is that it is very fragrant and many homeowners love the smell of green wood. Popular around Christmas and to be honest that's about it! The main problem and draw back is that Green wood is very hard to burn because inside the wood its still "wet". Many homeowners get a hot fire going with "seasoned wood" and then occasionally ad a piece of "green wood" for fragrance. Some homeowners just use a duraflame log on the bottom to "keep it going".

Seasoned Wood on the other hand has been cut & split and allowed to dry for 6-9 Months before delivery. This means when you light it, it POPS and burns well and gets hot because its DRY! If you don't know what type, you probably want Seasoned wood because green is very hard to burn. We only mention it here because we have lots of green wood! We also work out deals for green wood. Why work out a deal? Well let's think about it. If we don't have to "dry" the wood for a year on our property and you have a garage and are looking ahead to next year (8-12 months in advance) then maybe we might drop the price a wee bit if you "dry" it yourself!

We have clients with all kinds or preferences and to be honest it really does not matter how you burn or your preferences. All our wood is checked for proper moisture level (below 20%) before we deliver it.

Please check our all of our sizes of wood below and if you want to place an order, call us at (425)-492-1747.

The "Weekender" Price $145.00 Delivered ***SOLD OUT***

Size of the wood is 2' by 4'The "Weekender" is just that, enough wood to burn for a couple nights and a day or so. It's very popular with large families that usually don't have a fire all year long and then during the Fall and Winter months like to enjoy weekend with a good fire. Most of our customers don't have room for more wood and order four or five times through the winter months.

We deliver this right to your door! Call or email and say I want a "Weekender".

Seasoned Quarter Cord Price $275.00 Delivered. Kiln dried $300.00. $80/hr to Stack it for ya! ***SOLD OUT***

A quarter cord is like the "goldilocks" amount of wood for a little guest house, you condo types out there, or if you just need a few weekends of good burning. This is 1/4 of a full cord of wood. To put a picture in your head, it's about the size of a pallet of wood that's about 4 feet high! If you stack it one row deep, it'll measure 4 feet tall x 6 feet wide x 16 inches deep (that's one row of logs!). A lot of the metal firewood racks you can pickup online or at Home Depot or Lowe's hold about a quarter cord. Prefect for folks with small garages or if you just don't burn a ton & want to have wood around in case you get some out of towners or a few snowy nights!

I use my box truck for these deliveries so if possible let me know as soon as you can. Please email me and tell me you want a "Quarter Cord"!

Seasoned "Face Cord" Price $355.00 Delivered. Kiln dried $395.00. $80/hr to Stack it for ya! ***SOLD OUT***

If you are buying firewood, you will probably hear the term "Face Cord" tossed around. A "Face Cord" for you newbies is basically 1/3rd the size of a full cord of wood. A face cord is a woodpile that measures 8 feet wide x 4 feet high and is a popular size for our family peeps, business execs, and large families that want a good portion of wood that will last them two or three weekends, and if you burn less, allot longer. This is popular because it fits into a garage and takes very little room, and lasts the family two or three good weekends depending on how much you burn.

I use my box truck for these deliveries so if possible let me know as soon as you can. Please email me and tell me you want a "Face Cord "!

Seasoned Half Cord Price $455.00 Delivered. Kiln dried $525.00. $80/hr to Stack it for ya! ***SOLD OUT***

The "Half Cord" is half of a full cord and will last the average family a winter if they are using it for weekends and pleasure burning. Here are some guidelines for estimating what you will burn. In 1998, Seattle homeowners who heat primarily with wood burned almost 5 cords and that is every-night. Those who burned wood as a supplement to other home heating systems used just over 2 cords; and those who burned firewood only for pleasure used less than half a cord.

Please let me know a good day in advance and I can get you a half cord delivered! Just give a call!

Seasoned Full Cord Price $720.00 Delivered. Kiln dried $750.00. For Stacking $80/hr. ***SOLD OUT***
Takes about 1-3 hours to stack

A cord (often called a "full cord") is 128 cubic feet of wood - or in more simple terms, a woodpile that measures 8 feet wide x 4 feet high x 4 feet deep. This is the largest stack of wood we offer and this is usually for families who burn frequently. If you burn every single weekend, and on special nights, a cord should last you the winter. On the other hand, if you are burning every single nite, you may go through 5 cords a winter. In 2008, Seattle homeowners who heat primarily with wood burned almost 5 cords in a season. Those who burned wood as a supplement to other home heating systems used just over 2 cords; and those who burned firewood only for pleasure used less than a cord. If you are unsure, just get a cord and see how long it lasts ya.
